Description The broadleaf evergreen Asarum europaeum (European wild ginger) produces brown blossoms during late spring. This plant is spreading in form and has showy, glossy, medium textured and evergreen foliage that is deep green in colour.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging, ground cover, mass planting and woodland.
Special Characteristics This plant has a natural ability to resist deer.
Cautions This plant is self-sowing and may spread broadly and randomly.
