Description The herbaceous perennial Armeria pseudarmeria 'Joystick Red' (drumstick thrift) is repeat-blooming and bears showy, bright red and fragrant blooms during late spring to mid summer. The matte foliage is medium green in colour, medium in texture and evergreen.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, cut flowers, dried flowers, edging and mass planting.
Special Characteristics Hummingbirds are attracted to Armeria pseudarmeria 'Joystick Red' . This plant has a natural ability to resist deer, and it is tolerant of drought and salt.
Cautions This plant is self-sowing, and without intervention may spread broadly and randomly.
