Description Armeria maritima 'Vesuvius' (black-leaved thrift) bears bright pink blossoms during mid-spring to early summer. This plant has evergreen foliage that is dark fuchsia and black in colour.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, container, cut flowers, dried flowers and edging.
Special Characteristics Armeria maritima 'Vesuvius' tolerates drought, and is noted for being naturally resistant to deer.
