Description The herbaceous perennial Armeria maritima 'Rubrifolia' (red-leaved thrift) bears showy and bright pink blossoms during mid-spring to late spring. The foliage is dark green in colour and evergreen.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, container, cut flowers, dried flowers and edging.
Special Characteristics This plant has a natural ability to resist deer, and it is tolerant of drought and salt. In autumn, Armeria maritima 'Rubrifolia' is alight with fall colour.
