Description The herbaceous perennial Armeria maritima 'Nifty Thrifty' (sea pink) produces showy, striped bright pink and fragrant blossoms during mid-spring to mid-summer. This plant is clump forming and has showy, matte, fine textured and evergreen foliage that is variegated and striped white and medium green in colour.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, bedding plant, border, container and edging.
Special Characteristics Hummingbirds are attracted to Armeria maritima 'Nifty Thrifty' . This plant has a natural ability to resist deer, and it is tolerant of drought and salt.
