Description The broadleaf evergreen Arctostaphylos uva-ursi 'Vancouver Jade' (bearberry) bears showy and light pink blossoms during mid spring. This plant is mat forming and has glossy, medium textured and evergreen foliage that is deep green in colour. The bark is smooth in texture. Showy fruit are produced by Arctostaphylos uva-ursi 'Vancouver Jade' (bearberry).
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging, ground cover, mass planting and wild flower.
Special Characteristics Birds are attracted to Arctostaphylos uva-ursi 'Vancouver Jade' . This plant has a natural ability to resist deer, and it is tolerant of drought, compacted soil and light foot traffic.
