Description The herbaceous perennial Aquilegia vulgaris 'Woodside White' (Vervaeneana Group) (common columbine) yields showy and white blossoms during late spring to early summer. This plant is clump forming and has showy, matte and fine textured foliage that is spotted faded green and light brown in colour.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, bedding plant, border, cut flowers and wild flower.
Special Characteristics This herbaceous perennial attracts hummingbirds and butterflies to your garden.
Cautions Self-sowing, this plant can spread broadly and randomly where conditions are ideal for the seeds to germinate. However, this can be a benefit if you plan to use this plant in naturalizations.
