Description The herbaceous perennial Aquilegia 'Swan Lavender' (columbine) produces showy, white and repeat-blooming blossoms during late spring to mid-summer. This plant is clump forming and has glossy and medium textured foliage that is medium green and dark aquamarine in colour.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, bedding plant, border, container and cut flowers.
Special Characteristics This herbaceous perennial attracts hummingbirds and butterflies to your garden.
Cautions Self-sowing, this plant can spread broadly and randomly where conditions are ideal for the seeds to germinate. However, this can be a benefit if you plan to use this plant in naturalizations.
