Description Aquilegia fragrans (sweet-scented columbine) bears showy, faded yellow, fragrant and repeat-blooming blossoms during mid-spring to late spring. This herbaceous perennial has greyish green foliage.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, container, naturalization and woodland.
Cautions Where conditions are favourable, Aquilegia fragrans (sweet-scented columbine) can be invasive and may require maintenance to keep it under control. This plant is self-sowing and may spread broadly and randomly.
