Description The herbaceous perennial Aquilegia flabellata var. pumila 'Silver Edge' (dwarf fan columbine) bears showy and mauve blossoms during mid spring to early summer. This plant is clump forming and has showy, matte and fine textured foliage that is variegated greyish green and white in colour.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, cut flowers, edging, ground cover and naturalization.
Special Characteristics Hummingbirds and butterflies are attracted to Aquilegia flabellata var. pumila 'Silver Edge' .
