Description The herbaceous perennial Aquilegia flabellata 'Blue Angel' (fan columbine) bears showy and medium blue flowers during mid spring to early summer. The matte foliage is medium green in colour and fine in texture.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, cut flowers, edging, ground cover, mass planting and woodland.
Special Characteristics Hummingbirds and butterflies are attracted to Aquilegia flabellata 'Blue Angel' . This plant has a natural ability to resist deer and rabbits.
