Description The herbaceous perennial Aquilegia chrysantha 'Yellow Queen' (golden columbine) bears showy, pale yellow and fragrant blossoms during mid-spring to mid summer. The matte foliage is medium green and dark aquamarine in colour and medium in texture.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, cut flowers, mass planting, wild flower and woodland.
Special Characteristics Hummingbirds and butterflies are attracted to Aquilegia chrysantha 'Yellow Queen' . This plant has a natural ability to resist deer and rabbits.
