Description The herbaceous perennial Aquilegia chrysantha var. hinckleyana 'Texas Gold' (hinckley's golden columbine) produces showy, bright yellow and fragrant blossoms during mid-spring to early summer. This plant is clump forming and has matte and medium textured foliage that is medium green in colour.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border and wild flower.
Special Characteristics This herbaceous perennial attracts hummingbirds and butterflies to your garden.
Cautions This plant is self-sowing and may spread broadly and randomly.
