Description The herbaceous perennial Anchusa azurea (Italian alkanet) bears showy, bright blue and fragrant blossoms during late spring to mid summer. The matte foliage is medium green and greyish green in colour and coarse in texture.
Typical Uses Bedding plant, border, cut flowers and mass planting.
Special Characteristics This plant has a natural ability to resist deer and rabbits, and it is tolerant of drought.
