Description The herbaceous perennial Alyssum montanum 'Mountain Gold' (alyssum) is repeat-blooming and bears showy, bright yellow and fragrant blossoms during mid spring to early summer. The matte foliage is greyish green and light grey in colour, medium in texture and evergreen.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging and ground cover.
Special Characteristics It is worthy to note that Alyssum montanum 'Mountain Gold' tolerates drought, and has a natural resistance to deer.
