Description The herbaceous perennial Alchemilla mollis 'Auslese' (lady's mantle) bears showy, bright yellow and fragrant blossoms during late spring to mid-summer. The showy matte foliage is dark aquamarine and greyish green in colour and medium in texture.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, cut flowers, edging and ground cover.
Cautions The growth rate of Alchemilla mollis 'Auslese' (lady's mantle) is fast and you should plan for this in your garden design and layout. Self-sowing, this plant can spread broadly and randomly where conditions are ideal for the seeds to germinate. However, this can be a benefit if you plan to use this plant in naturalizations.
