Description The herbaceous perennial Ajuga reptans (carpet bugleweed) bears showy, bright blue and fragrant blossoms during late spring to early summer. The showy glossy foliage is medium orange in colour, medium in texture and evergreen.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, border, container, edging, ground cover, mass planting and woodland.
Special Characteristics Ajuga reptans tolerates compacted soil and light foot traffic, and is noted for being naturally resistant to deer and rabbits.
