Description Agave stricta (hedgehog agave) bears showy and bright red blooms during mid-summer to late summer. This cactus is rosette in form and has deep green foliage that is showy, matte, medium textured and evergreen. Find a prominent place in your garden for this stunning cactus which has been designated a specimen.
Typical Uses Alpine or rock garden, border, container, ground cover, foundation, specimen and tropical.
Special Characteristics Agave stricta tolerates drought and salt.
