Description The herbaceous perennial Agastache rugosa f. albiflora (giant white hyssop) produces showy, white, fragrant and repeat-blooming blossoms during mid-summer to mid-fall. This plant is upright and has glossy, medium textured and aromatic foliage that is medium green and dark fuchsia in colour.
Typical Uses Border, container, cut flowers, vegetable garden and wild flower.
Special Characteristics Hummingbirds and butterflies are attracted to Agastache rugosa f. albiflora . Agastache rugosa f. albiflora is tolerant of drought.
Cautions The growth rate of Agastache rugosa f. albiflora (giant white hyssop) is fast and you should plan for this in your garden design and layout. Self-sowing, this plant can spread broadly and randomly where conditions are ideal for the seeds to germinate. However, this can be a benefit if you plan to use this plant in naturalizations.
