Description The broadleaf evergreen - herbaceous perennial Acorus gramineus 'Variegatus' (dwarf sedge) bears medium green blossoms during late spring to mid-summer. The showy glossy foliage is variegated and striped, greyish green and pale green in colour, fine in texture, aromatic and semi-evergreen. Acorus gramineus 'Variegatus' (dwarf sedge) bears striped fruit.
Typical Uses Accent, alpine or rock garden, bog, border, container, edging, ground cover, mass planting, pond and waterfront.
Special Characteristics Acorus gramineus 'Variegatus' tolerates wet sites, and is noted for being naturally resistant to rabbits.
